With over 19 years of experience installing a wide range of kitchens, from small to large, from flatpack to part assembled to fully bespoke designs. I have installed kitchens of all types of sizes at prices that beat the high street retailers such as B&Q Wickes, Howdens, Jewsons, and local small independent kitchen retailers. My service from start to finish is to make sure you get the kitchen that you want, designed and installed at the very best price.

My clients are often very surprised when receiving my quotation compared to other Norwich Kitchen Fitters, as my prices are significantly lower. Just recently a customer of mine was quoted £3,000 for a kitchen install and my price was just almost 35% lower.

Excellent job on completely refitting our kitchen

Excellent experience with Luke and his team. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The work was done to the highest of standards and we are very impressed with the end result. Luke had a solution for every problem, not that there were many. And he would go out of his way to accommodate our requests. The first of the old cabinets were knocked down within 5 minutes of them arriving on day one. One thing you can say about Luke is that he’s a grafter and takes tremendous pride in his work. And unlike some cowboys out there, he didn’t request any money until the job was done. A* service, thanks guys.

We chose luke to do our kitchen after he came round to do a quote,we instantly knew this was the person we wanted to do the work, luke was helpful and full of advice with good attention to detail when discussing what we wanted. Each day I came home excited to see what had been done that day. The work we had done was new cupboard doors, new work top, new oven and hob fitted, new sink fitted and tiling, we could not be happier with the results, so much so we have now asked for a quote for the bathroom. We would highly recommend Luke and his team.

LCH Carpentry created a new dressing room for us. This include knocking through a wall to create a new doorway, hanging off doors, installation for new walls, electrical work to move lights, plastering, architrave and finish. The work was completed efficiently and to a good standard. The team were all respectful to us and our home.

Kitchen Fitting FAQ’s

Which Is The Most Efficient Kitchen Design Layout?

Since the 1940s, the “kitchen triangle” has been a design principle used to organise kitchen layout, and it continues to be effective today. It is simply based on the kitchen sink, refrigerator, and cooker—the three main work locations.

The idea is that these should be arranged in a triangle so that you can easily move from one to the other. The ideal triangle’s sides should be at least four feet long and no more than nine feet long.

The concept of “zoning” has been incorporated into contemporary kitchen design with the idea that the kitchen should be split into zones for various everyday tasks, such as coffee preparation, meal preparation, and other similar tasks.

How can I choose a good kitchen fitter?

  1. Give importance to experience just as much as credentials.
  2. Ensure that you feel comfortable when communicating with them.
  3. Obtain estimates that include every detail.
  4. Agree a payment plan.
  5. Verify their knowledge with the building regs.
  6. Make certain that there are follow-ups after the installation is complete.

What is the typical Kitchen installation process?

  1. Choose your new kitchen
  2. Old Kitchen Removal
  3. Make sure that your kitchen’s walls are prepared.
  4. Kitchen Lighting and Ceiling
  5. Installation of Kitchen Electrics and Gas
  6. The Process of Choosing and Laying the new Kitchen Flooring
  7. Installation of the Main Kitchen
  8. Final kitchen gas and electrical installation work
  9. Installation of Wall Tiles, Kitchen Splash-backs and finishing trims
  10. Final painting & cosmetic finishing completion

How long does it take to install a kitchen?

Fitting a new kitchen typically takes between one and four weeks.

However, this is entirely dependent on the amount of work required. It could take around a week to replace an existing kitchen with the same layout and appliance placement, provided that no new flooring or décor is required.

Should the kitchen flooring be completed prior to installation?

It is entirely up to you to make this choice. The best solution would be to lay the floor first, although care needs to be taken while installing the new kitchen to not harm the floor.

A decent job would be to tile first. Even though the entire floor won’t be on display, sealing it will make cleaning simpler and help reduce dust. Additionally, it will aid in protecting the subfloor in the event of water leaks.

Will you as a Kitchen Fitter take on the Electrics & gas installation work needed?

Since the vast majority of kitchen fitters are carpenters or joiners by trade, we do not normally possess the appropriate credentials for the electrical and gas aspects of the kitchen installation, so we will typically have a plumber, a gas technician, and an electrician who we work closely with on a regular basis. As your kitchen fitter, we will work on the installation along side them, and other traders should they be needed, throughout the project.
